At Northfield Park, the Revenue Auditor Clerk supports the daily revenue audit function by performing routine audit tasks, data entry, report preparation, and document verification related to casino gaming, racetrack wagering, and dining operations. This entry-level role assists in ensuring revenue accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and applicable gaming and racing regulations within a 24/7 operating environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:

- Assists with daily revenue audits for casino gaming, racetrack wagering, and food & beverage outlets.
- Collects, organizes, and verifies audit documentation including system reports, transaction logs, and supporting paperwork.
- Enters daily revenue data into audit worksheets, logs, and reporting tools with a high level of accuracy.
- Runs standard system reports from casino management systems, racetrack/tote systems, cage systems, and dining POS systems.
- Performs basic reconciliations and variance checks under the direction of Revenue Auditors or Senior Revenue Auditors.
- Flags missing documentation, data inconsistencies, or unusual transactions for review and follow-up.
- Assists with preparation of daily operating reports and audit packets.
- Maintains audit schedules, checklists, and filing standards to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Ensures all audit documentation is properly filed, retained, and maintained in accordance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Maintains confidentiality and integrity of all financial records and audit materials.
- Communicates professionally with Finance, Cage, Gaming, Racetrack Operations, and Dining departments as needed to obtain documentation.
- Meets daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Attends departmental meetings and training sessions as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Education, experience, skills required, equipment used.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior accounting, auditing, cashiering, or casino/racetrack operational experience preferred but not required.
- Basic understanding of financial documents, numbers, and reconciliation concepts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to learn casino management systems, racetrack/tote systems, and POS platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow established procedures and internal controls.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently with supervision.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varied shifts in a 24/7 operation.
