The Role

Make a difference. Choose when you work. Earn $240 per day.

The Bear Creek School is seeking dependable, caring individuals to join our team of Substitute Teachers. When our teachers are away, you will step into the classroom, follow their lesson plans, and help students stay engaged, supported, and ready to learn. You will work with students from K-12 and report to the Division Head.

Whether you are an experienced educator, exploring teaching as a career, or simply looking for purposeful, flexible work, substitute teaching at Bear Creek is a meaningful way to use your gifts while supporting our students and mission.

How assignments work: Substitute assignments are offered through Frontline, our absence management system, and are typically posted 7-14 days in advance. You choose which assignments to accept, and you are always free to decline the ones that don't fit your schedule.

Earn more as you serve. Our substitute incentive program rewards you for coming back:

  • 25 cumulative days in one school year = $500
  • 50 cumulative days in one school year = $1,000
  • 75 cumulative days in one school year = $1,500
  • 100 cumulative days in one school year = $2,000
