About The Clubs of Cordillera Ranch
Nestled in the Texas Hill Country, The Clubs of Cordillera Ranch is a private, luxury club defined by authenticity, refined hospitality, and a deeply rooted sense of place. Our membership values quality over flash, relationships over transactions, and consistency over trends.
Food and beverage at Cordillera Ranch is not about spectacle—it’s about trust. Members return because they know what they’ll experience: calm confidence, thoughtful service, and professionals who understand how to host without needing to perform.
About the Role
The Head Bartender at The Clubs of Cordillera Ranch is a hands-on team leader who brings organization, creativity, and consistency to our beverage operations. This is primarily a daytime role, with a strong focus on preparation, team training, and supporting the development and execution of both our cocktail and coffee programs.
Working closely with the Beverage Manager, the Head Bartender will assist in curating, testing, and implementing cocktail and coffee offerings—from developing recipes to training staff on preparation and presentation. A strong working knowledge of syrups is required, including flavor development, production, storage, and their application in cocktails, coffee, and other nonalcoholic beverages.
Daily responsibilities include working bartending shifts, overseeing bar readiness, maintaining prep and stock levels, reinforcing opening and closing procedures, and ensuring consistent recipes, portion sizes, and presentation. This position also supports inventory control, waste reduction, and clean, organized workspaces.
We are looking for someone who takes initiative, communicates clearly, and enjoys teaching others. The ideal candidate can contribute creative ideas, turn them into practical recipes and procedures, and coach the team to execute them consistently while providing welcoming, attentive service to our members and their guests.
