Centex Technologies is seeking a Dell VxRail Resident Engineer to support onsite planning, deployment, and administration of VxRail at a federal customer in Quantico, VA. You will manage day-to-day VMware operations, perform knowledge transfer, and leverage your Linux skills in a mission-critical environment.

This position requires:

• US Citizenship
• Active Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure DellEMC VxRail clusters and associated VMware components.
• Spin up VMs, manage VMware resources, and perform routine HCI administration.
• Provide limited training and knowledge transfer to customer administrators.
• Assist with Windows server and domain controller moves as required.
• Use Linux (Red Hat) to support VxRail and related services.
• Document configuration, changes, and standard operating procedures.

•  3+ years of VMware vSphere experience.
• 2+ years working with VxRail or related HCI solutions.
• Strong Linux (Red Hat) skills.
• Active Secret clearance and ability to work onsite in Quantico, VA.
• Strong communication and customer-service orientation.

Preferred

• Experience with VMware Horizon and CAC environments.
• Relevant Dell or VMware certifications.
