Description

Job Summary:

The Implementation Specialist will work in all regions to onboard new clients and/or project manage connections, new benefit offerings and support sales in new client acquisition efforts. The Implementation Specialist is expected to review the demands of clients, develop project plans, and ensure on time completion to meet both client expectations and internal deadlines and metrics.


Duties/Responsibilities:

General and Pre-Implementation: 

  • Facilitate pre-sale demos and conversations working with the sales team in all regions
  • Become an expert in: 
  1. All ben admin platforms and partner carrier set up processes
  2. Leading, communicating, and tracking all carrier credits (technology/platform, implementation, enrollment) and PEPMs, if       applicable on NB cases
  3. All GIS Communication services and equipped to leverage and co-manage the process with their project management team
  • Lead the organization in the utilization of BlockForms
  • Lead all new integrations requested during plan year - NorthEast office volumes likely to reach 100+ new cases annual (5-10 monthly, 25-30 during peak season) striving for 100% accuracy on platforms and paperwork
  • Provide quality control and support as needed on other implementations with hybrid team members, troubleshooting as needed
  • Train other team members on implementations
  • Provide the Broker/Group with an “Onboarding Timeline”
  • If Boon Chapman or Patra is to manage medical eligibility, the Implementation Specialist will review the MEM process
  • If Boon Chapman is to manage COBRA, the Onboarding Specialist will review the COBRA process


Implementation:

  • Lead and manage implementation of new business after the Notice of Sale maintaining communication throughout the course of the project
  • Collaborate with customer and operations leadership to ensure all processes are adhered to throughout the implementation process
  • Utilize Monday.com to track implementation process and maintain internal databases timely (ex. Insight)
  • Work closely with customers early and throughout the process to identify potential issues and share best practices
  • Customize ben admin platforms to increase product knowledge and participation
  • Quarterback/prefill all carrier and internal contracts for both TPA and direct cases increasing utilization of BlockForms
  • Facilitate payroll connections or payroll report distribution
  • Test ben admin portals prior to OE
  • Ensure smooth transition to service team post go-live 
  1. Conduct welcome call and initial platform training within 2 weeks of effective date. 
  2. IS will own all platform admin help during the time from effective date to the training
  • Responsible for all connections including the Connections Team, EDI with Apprize, Soluta, etc


Post Implementation:

  • Host 90-day step back meetings with accounts/brokers to brief on progress, challenges, and plans for support
  • Provide each case a post OE success summary
  • Distribute customer survey after every implementation, maintain rating of good or better
  • Quarterback any adjustments or audits needed from rate discrepancies or errors that occurred at the inception/set-up of platform
Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • College graduate or high school graduate with work experience
  • Previous administrative experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Carrier Eligibility system requirements preferred
  • Knowledge of business correspondence, filing and general office procedures
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel and Outlook
  • Skill in interpersonal and written communication
  • Skill in critical thinking, problem analysis and process documentation
  • Skill in following tasks through to completion
  • Ability to accurately compile data and perform detailed work
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of material and information


Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to life up to 15 pounds at times.
Salary Description
$80,000-$85,000 annually
