Marshall Community Credit Union (MCCU) is hiring two Student Tellers to launch and operate our brand-new CU in School branch inside BCCHS!
This is more than a job — it’s a leadership opportunity where you’ll gain hands-on financial experience, build professional skills, and make a real impact in your school community.
What You'll Do:
- Operate the BCCHS CU in School branch, assisting student members and staff with basic banking transactions
- Provide accurate cash handling and account transactions
- Educate members on MCCU products and services
- Promote financial wellness and market MCCU within the school
- Deliver outstanding customer service and problem-solving support
- Represent MCCU at school and community events
You’ll build confidence, leadership skills, and real workplace experience — all in a supportive, team-focused environment.
What You'll Earn:

- Must be a current junior at BCCHS who will be a senior during the 2026–2027 school year
- Enrolled in the Roar Store through the Business, Engineering, and Information Technology (BEIT) Career Academy
- Reliable, responsible, and comfortable working with people
- Able to perform basic clerical and computer tasks
- If under 18, must obtain a valid Michigan work permit (MCCU will assist with this process).
- Must have reliable transportation if participating in optional paid shifts at MCCU branch locations or community events.
Work Schedule:
Summer Before Senior Year
- Mandatory paid training
- Optional paid shifts available:
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Senior Year (During School Year)
- Scheduled hours during the school day as part of the BEIT Career Academy
- Optional paid shifts after school (based on performance and eligibility):
- Monday–Friday: 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM
- Saturday: 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Community Events
Earn additional paid hours by helping promote MCCU at:
- Community outreach events, like the Hispanic Heritage Kickoff Fiesta or holiday parade
- BCCHS extracurricular activities
- Battle Jacks games
