Description

 The Windsor Court Hotel is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented AM cook to join our culinary team. This position is responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality cold dishes and pantry items for breakfast and early service. The ideal candidate takes pride in presentation, works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety. 


Responsibilities:

  •  Prepare and assemble cold menu items, including salads, fruit displays, charcuterie, cold appetizers, dressings, and garnishes
  • Set up and stock the pantry station for breakfast and brunch service
  • Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Maintain proper food handling, labeling, and storage procedures
  • Monitor product freshness and minimize waste
  • Assist with prep work for other kitchen stations as needed
  • Keep the work area clean and organized in compliance with health and safety standards
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and supervisors
Requirements
  •  Previous kitchen or pantry experience preferred
  • Basic knife skills and understanding of cold food preparation 
  • Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed 
  • Strong attention to detail and presentation 
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs 
  • Food safety certification preferred
