About the Role
We’re looking for an HVAC Service Manager to play a key role in guiding the success and growth of our HVAC Department. This person will oversee daily operations, drive departmental profitability through effective planning, and continuously elevate our team’s performance through mentorship and technical training. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives on developing people, improving processes, and finding creative ways to keep the team productive and motivated, even during slower seasons. This position is all about collaboration, accountability, and results.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop HVAC service technicians to deliver outstanding workmanship and customer care.
- Oversee daily operations for the HVAC Service Department, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and consistency.
- Establish and track departmental KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Plan and implement strategies to maintain productivity during slower seasons.
- Collaborate with dispatch, customer service, and management to ensure smooth communication and scheduling.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, ride-alongs, and technical training sessions.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards, codes, and company policies.
- Drive a positive team culture rooted in professionalism, accountability, and pride in quality work.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of HVAC experience, including service management or supervisory leadership.
- Proven ability to manage teams, meet performance goals, and grow department profitability.
- Strong technical background with deep understanding of residential HVAC systems.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- EPA Certification and valid driver’s license required.
- A people-first mindset with a passion for helping technicians succeed.
