Position Summary
The Busser supports the dining team by maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked restaurant environment. This role ensures tables are reset quickly, service areas stay presentable, and members enjoy a smooth, comfortable dining experience at Glenmoor Country Club. 


Key Responsibilities 

Dining Room Support 

  • Set and reset tables promptly and accurately 
  • Pre-bus and clear dishes, glassware, and service items during and after meals 
  • Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, and surrounding areas 
  • Sweep and maintain floors throughout service 

Water & Table Service 

  • Provide water service using trays 
  • Refill water glasses and jugs as needed 
  • Stock and polish glassware 
  • Deliver bread, butter, and other small service items as requested 

Setup & Stocking 

  • Stock service stations and supplies for the team 
  • Assist with buffet and special event setup and breakdown 
  • Keep dining and service areas clean, organized, and guest-ready 
  • Complete nightly side work 

Teamwork & Service Standards 

  • Support servers and food runners to maintain smooth service flow 
  • Respond quickly to member and team requests 
  • Attend pre-shift lineups 
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality standards 
  • Report any issues or safety concerns to management 

Glenmoor Country Club operates in a non-tipping environment. Team members are compensated through hourly wages or salaries rather than gratuities.

Physical & Work Requirements 

  • Stand and walk for extended periods 
  • Lift and carry trays, dishes, and supplies up to 25 lbs. 
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and squatting 
  • Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions 
  • Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed 
  • Work safely around wet floors, hot surfaces, and restaurant equipment
