Join Lake Lawn Resort as a Conference Services Manager and lead the planning and execution of group events, conferences, and banquets. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and excels at coordinating details, managing client relationships, and delivering seamless events.
Position Details
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Shift: Flexible (Days, Evenings, Weekends based on events)
- Department: Sales & Catering / Events What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for group and conference clients
- Plan, coordinate, and execute events from booking through completion
- Prepare detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and group resumes
- Collaborate with internal departments (F&B, operations, housekeeping, etc.) to ensure seamless execution
- Upsell event enhancements including menus, themed events, activities, and additional services
- Maintain accurate event details in systems such as Amadeus, Versa, and Sales & Catering platforms
- Communicate event timelines and requirements to all stakeholders
- Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction and resolve issues as they arise
- Support revenue growth through client engagement and service excellence
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- College degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in conference services, event management, or hotel/resort operations
- Prior supervisory experience in food & beverage or banquet operations preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and client management abilities
- Experience with systems such as Amadeus, Versa, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Valid driver’s license required
