Responsibilities of a Body Shop Detailer entail:
- Responsible for maintaining shop cleanliness through disposing of trash, sweeping, etc.
- Remove and discard damaged parts from the shop
- Operate a forklift and drive trucks in and out of the shop
- Wash truck exterior and vacuum interior of vehicles, upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces
- Wash engines and engine compartments with steam-cleaning equipment
- Visually inspect trucks after processing for defects
- Document all relevant information on repairs
- Manage time effectively and efficiently
- Perform other duties as assigned

The requirements to be a Body Shop Detailer:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- No experience required
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain a DOT medical card
