Customer Service Representative
Description

Job Summary

This position reports to the Director of Building Operations. This position is responsible for greeting and directing customers/vendors to the appropriate department or location and managing incoming telephone calls and mail deliveries. 


Essential Job Functions

· Serves as a Customer Service Representative at the Front Desk and other areas within the Association as needed. 

· Opens and/or closes the Front Desk and building each day. 

· Receives and signs for packages and deliveries. 

· Greets and signs in members and clients.

· Directs incoming calls to the appropriate person or department. 

· Acts as a contact point for building rentals by gathering information related to event logistics (Number of people, room set-up, etc.)

· Ensures that all documentation for building rentals/facility usage is completed and signed by the appropriate parties.

· Maintains accurate building services spreadsheets (Accounts payable, vendor list, service calls, revenue/building rental payments, etc.)

· Maintains a neat and orderly work area. 

· Manages crowd control in the public area. 

· Directs visitors to appropriate staff and areas. 

· Exercises daily security measures involved in Front Desk operations. 

· Performs general clerical tasks assigned by the Director of Building Operations. 

· Maintains high levels of consumer satisfaction. 

· Effectively addresses sensitive issues and maintains confidentiality. 

· Displays consistent professionalism and courtesy when interacting with internal and external customers. 

· Promotes and supports the mission, imperative, values and goals of the YWCA, maintaining high performance standards. 

· Participates in YWCA professional development opportunities, successfully implementing new skills, knowledge, and procedures. 

· Performs additional duties as assigned by the Director within the scope of Building Services.

Requirements

Qualifications: 

High school diploma or equivalent with one (1) year general office work experience.


  

Work Conditions

  • Ability to lift, carry and otherwise move up to 15 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, or walk for various lengths of time throughout the day.
  • Ability to utilize computer and general office equipment to complete work responsibilities.
  • Ability to travel for meetings, agency trainings, and other miscellaneous work assignments. 
Salary Description
$15-$17/Hour
