What You'll Do

  • Inspect machined components to ensure compliance with customer specifications and internal quality requirements 
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications 
  • Perform dimensional inspections using precision measuring equipment and API thread gages 
  • Verify material grade, heat numbers, traceability, and customer markings 
  • Perform API and premium thread inspections 
  • Document inspection results and maintain complete quality records 
  • Identify and communicate non-conforming conditions 
  • Support a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

  • Someone who takes pride in finding issues before they become customer problems 
  • Experience inspecting API and premium-thread products (TenarisHydril, VAM, Hunting, etc.) preferred 
  • Strong understanding of dimensional inspection, blueprint reading, and GD&T 
  • Ability to properly use and document API thread gages and inspection equipment 
  • Someone who understands that quality is everyone's responsibility but is willing to own it personally 
  • A detail-oriented professional who values accuracy, consistency, and accountability

Pay Range: $22 - $35 depending on experience

Shifts Available: Day shift, night shift, flexible scheduling

Requirements


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year of Premium Thread inspection of tubular goods and threading experience (Tenaris, VAM, etc.)
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend English
  • The position routinely requires lifting of moderately heavy items, such as gauges and test equipment (up to 40 pounds) and very long periods of walking and standing on a routine basis
