Position Title: Human Resources Assistant  

Department: HR/ Administration

Supervisor: Human Resource Director 


Duties and Responsibilities: 

· Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and other human resources activities. 

· Attend job fairs and hiring events to recruit new staff, as required.

· Welcomes employment candidates to the organization during the interviewing process.

· Provide a tour of the facility for recruits.

· Provide ad-hoc reports to Management staff.

· Assist with employee relations concerns on an as-needed basis. 

· Submit employee data reports by assembling, preparing, and analyzing data for special requests and projects. 

· Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

· Maintain quality service by following organizational standards.

· Support all internal and external employment inquiries, requests, special projects, etc.

· Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  

Skills and Knowledge Required: 

· Proven work experience as an HR Administrative Assistant or work in a similar field

· Working knowledge of HR software, such as Paylocity

· Knowledge of labor legislation, laws, and structure 

· Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel

· Ability to prioritize tasks and complete assignments on a timely basis.

· Ability to follow directions.

· Must be dependable and flexible.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality 

· Intermediate Microsoft Office Software Skills

· Exceptional writing skills: punctuation, grammar, and proofreading abilities are a must.
 

Credentials / Academic Requirements: BS degree in Human Resources or relevant field; required.
