The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Development Advisory Services plays a senior leadership role, overseeing client projects, advising on complex real estate development strategies, and ensuring the successful execution of pre-development and project implementation strategies. Reporting to the Executive Vice President (EVP) of Development Advisory Services, the SVP provides expertise in large-scale public-private development projects, creative financing solutions, and project stakeholder engagement. The SVP also leads business development efforts with the support of the business development team through existing client engagement, calls with business prospects, directing the preparation of proposals, participation in interviews with prospective clients, and participation in other marketing and sales initiatives, helping to grow Hunden’s development advisory services practice.

Job Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior advisor and project leader, overseeing multiple development advisory projects.
- Guide clients through pre-development processes, helping them navigate financial, regulatory, and strategic challenges.
- Lead client relationships, ensuring alignment with project goals and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Actively participates alongside the team providing project feasibility services with a focus on establishing client relationships and guiding recommendations so that, where feasible, a strategy can be developed to implement the project in a way that best meets the client’s goals.
- Provide expertise in real estate finance, feasibility analysis, and public-private deal structuring.
- Represent Hunden Partners at industry events, conferences, and panels, reinforcing the Firm’s reputation in the field.
- Consistent business development efforts, helping to identify new project opportunities and contributing to proposal development.
- Work closely with the EVP to enhance Hunden’s brand equity, promoting the Firm’s advisory services and expanding its reach.
- Oversee project quality and client deliverables, ensuring all work meets Hunden’s high standards for accuracy and impact.
- Mentor and train internal teams, ensuring knowledge transfer and professional development across levels.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in public-private real estate development, finance, project management, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in large-scale convention center, sports, entertainment, and mixed-use developments.
- Strong background in public and private sector development, with an ability to navigate both perspectives.
- Proven ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously, guiding stakeholders through complex development processes.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead teams, supporting the development of Analysts, Project Managers, and junior advisors.
- Experience in business development, thought leadership, and industry engagement.
- Familiarity with financial modeling, feasibility analysis, and real estate finance principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn and become proficient with other relevant project management tools and CRM systems.
