Description

  

A night auditor acts as a combined front desk agent and accountant for a hotel during the overnight shift (typically 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.). They check guests in/out, handle security, and reconcile the day’s financial transactions, balancing accounts, posting room charges, and generating reports for management. 

Core Responsibilities

  • Financial Auditing: Reconciling the day’s      financial activities, closing out the business day in the Property      Management System (PMS), and preparing daily reports on revenue and      occupancy.
  • Front Desk Services: Checking      guests in and out, answering phone calls, handling inquiries, and managing      reservations.
  • Security & Safety: Acting as the primary      security for the hotel overnight, including but not limited to, handling      emergency situations while remaining calm, performing property checks and      maintaining guest safety.
  • Guest Service: Addressing      guest needs, resolving complaints, providing concierge services, and      managing guest requests.

Education and Experience Requirements

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Prior hotel or resort experience preferred

· Familiarity with Hilton POS software, guest messaging and Ambiance, a plus
