POSITION SUMMARY

The Office Clerk assist in the general operation of the pharmacy and responsible for the proper organization of the medications and supplies as well as rotation and inventory control of products. The employee must ensure compliance of professional standards and the relevant legal, regulatory and safety requirements.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

The following duties will be performed on a daily, weekly basis or as needed:

• Handle the distribution process of all the packages (Rx & OTC) that have already been created in the Delivery system through the different zones or routes.

• Properly organizes his area to guarantee the correct distribution of the packages for each route, placing the boxes according to the number of routes, as well as their respective identification.

• Keep Office Clerks that are in the role of creating the package to the system supplied with empty boxes.

• Assists in picking up OTCs once they are available in the OTC station pick up area.

• Help collect the Rx already checked by the pharmacists and take them to the designated Office Clerk station.

• Participate in carrying out the scanner of all OTC packages once in the Delivery area.

• Assist in the contribution of proposals and process improvements and interactions between the team.

• Inform your Supervisor or Manager about any eventuality or anomaly during working day.

• Ability to work in a team and adjust according to the needs of the operation.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area. 

• Operate material-handling equipment safely and efficiently according to established procedures as required.

• Adhere and follow all applicable company policies and procedures and government regulations.

• Ensure the safe keeping and confidentiality of information and operational strategies.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education:   High school diploma or equivalent. 

Years of experience:  At least one (1) year of clerical experience in a manufacturing, warehouse or pharmacy.

• Able to work quickly and efficiently.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage and execute multiple projects.

• Proactive and have the ability to work well independently and as a team.

• Professional, positive attitude with a strong work ethic and a continuous learner.

• Ensure all work consistently exceeds established standards and guidelines.

• Solid ability to handle confidential information appropriately and with integrity.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

• ?Highly organized with strong time management and project management skills. 

• Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays as required by the need of the operation.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
