Job Title: Power Plant Manager

Summary: The Power Plant Manager manages and oversees the engine fleets installed on the Boeing 747-400.
Essential Functions:
Engine Maintenance:
- CF6-80C2 Engine Maintenance.
- Rolls-Royce RB211 Engine Maintenance.
- APU Shop visits for 747 fleets.
- Engine water wash agreement oversight.
- Bore Scope Inspections for CF6 and RB211 Fleets.
- SME Engine trouble shooting and system operation.
- SME for APU maintenance and troubleshooting.
Engine Lease Oversight:
- Schedules Engine induction and changes.
- Monitors Progress of install and removal.
- Performs Incoming inspections on arrival.
- Material coordinator and financial cost analysis.
Engine Run/Taxi:
- 747 – GE CF6 Examiner
- Engine Condition Monitoring
- Rolls Royce RB211-535E4 flight coupon entry and Aero manager oversight.
- GE CF6-80C2 ACARS monitoring and GE Customer Web site oversight.
Minimum Experience, Qualifications & Skills:
- 10 years commercial aircraft maintenance experience including electrical and avionics with:
- installations on jet powered transport aircraft. With a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory/management capacity.
- Experience with aircraft maintenance planning, aircraft modification project planning, and airline/aircraft operations.
- College degree preferred not required.?
- A valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.?
- Proven communication and customer service skills to interact with airline customer representatives and management.?
- Manage vendor relationships.?
- Computer skills and competency with Microsoft Office.?
- Must pass a 10-year background check, pre-employment drug test, and criminal history records check (CHRC).

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move machine parts weighing up to 70 pounds from ground to equipment level (waist level) and maneuver any single item weighing up to 125 pounds with appropriate equipment or assistance from another person.
Travel Requirements:
30% domestic/international travel may be required.
