We are looking for Preventive Maintenance Techs for Night Shift, to join our team at our Wylie, Texas facility. 

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on extrusion presses, conveyors, hydraulic systems, saws, and auxiliary equipment. 
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency. 
  • Lubricate, adjust, align, and replace mechanical components such as bearings, belts, chains, pumps, valves, and motors. 
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, manuals, and maintenance procedures. 
  • Conduct equipment inspections and document maintenance activities in maintenance systems/logs. 
  • Support breakdown repairs and assist production teams in resolving equipment issues safely and efficiently. 
  • Follow all plant safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and housekeeping standards. 
  • Collaborate with maintenance and production personnel to improve equipment reliability and performance.


Requirements
  •  Minimum of two (2) years of industrial mechanical PM maintenance experience in a manufacturing, extrusion, heavy industrial, or related environment. 
  • Experience with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and hydraulic equipment. 
  • Comparable or transferable maintenance experience will be considered. 
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments. 
  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems, bearings, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, and hydraulic equipment. 
  • Ability to read and understand maintenance manuals, work orders, and mechanical drawings. 
  • Must be able to work safely in a fast-paced industrial environment and follow lockout/tagout procedures. 
  • Ability to lift, climb, stand, and work in varying plant conditions as needed.
