The YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City is looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented, and passionate individual to join the Family Resource Center team at the YMCA Association Office. This role will work directly under the Executive Director of Christian Mission and Family Resource Center Navigator in the recruitment and administration components of the Family Resource Center collaboration with Our Neighborhood Empowerment. The position will be based at our Family Resource Center with portions of time in the field at the Association Office and at special events. Applicants should be comfortable working with children and high-risk populations.
This is a grant funded part-time position, with the opportunity to grow into full-time and renew each grant cycle.
*Starting at $13.00 per hour
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Family Resource Center Coordinator will have these main areas of focus:
Family Resource Navigation and Support:
· Conduct family intake and needs assessments
· Provide resource referrals and navigation support
· Maintain consistent follow-up communication with families
· Document services, referrals, and family progress accurately
· Assist with Family Resource Center programming such as Getting Ahead and Kids Club
Community Outreach and Family Stability:
· Conduct outreach to families and community organizations
· Coordinate and support family events and resource fairs
· Recruit participants for workshops and support programs
· Build relationships with community partners and service providers
Data Tracking, Reporting, and Program Coordination:
· Maintain accurate program and service records
· Track participation, referrals, and program outcomes
· Prepare monthly and quarterly reports
· Coordinate program logistics, meetings, and administrative support
- Person must have a high school diploma or GED. Candidates with at least two years’ experience working in administration in an office setting will be given preference.
- Ability to work as a team member and to make decisions independently.
- Must exemplify and support the YMCA Movement.
- Able to communicate effectively via email, phone and in person.
- Must be certified in PR/CPR, AED, O2, and First Aid. (Training provided by the Y, if needed)
