Key Responsibilities
- Installation: Pull, route, support, and terminate low-voltage infrastructure cabling in various commercial settings.
- System Setup: Assist in the installation and physical mounting of security cameras, access control hardware, and audiovisual components.
- Pathways & Support: Install cable trays, J-hooks, conduits, and support structures according to project blueprints and industry standards.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Assist with testing connectivity and labeling cables to ensure clean, certified compliance.
- Safety & Professionalism: Maintain a safe, clean work site and represent the company professionally when interacting with clients and site managers.

Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
The Basics (Required):
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand/power tools.
- Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- A strong work ethic, punctuality, and a willingness to learn on the job.
Preferred Skills & Experience (A Major Plus): If you have experience in any of the following, we definitely want to talk to you:
- Structured Cabling: Experience routing and dressing voice/data cables (Cat6).
- Fiber Optics: Knowledge of installing, terminating, or splicing fiber optic backbones (e.g., OM3/OM4).
- Physical Security: Hands-on experience with Security Cameras (IP/Analog) and Access Control Systems (maglocks, card readers, door stations, patient safety/wander management systems).
- Network Hardware: Familiarity with mounting racks, patch panels, and network switches.
Salary Description
$20 - $30 / hour
