JOB SUMMARY:
The School of Business and Professional Studies at Clinton College invites applications to fill the position of Dean with a start date of July 1, 2026. The Dean is expected to design, develop, and execute academic policies and programs for the School of Business and Professional Studies. The incumbent will develop strategies to achieve educational goals and objectives. Serves as liaison officer with accrediting agencies housed under this unit of the College. The Dean utilizes long-range strategic planning to develop, integrate, facilitate, and accomplish the College and Departmental goals, in alignment with the mission of the College, and in collaboration with the Department Chairs. The Dean motivates academic and workforce faculty to expedite relevant and quality curriculum and instructional development. Supports and facilitates noncredit to credit pathways to expand opportunities and strengthen student success.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for all academic programs within the School.
- Oversee curriculum development, revision, and assessment.
- Ensure programs meet accreditation standards.
- Monitor enrollment trends and student outcomes.
- Plan, budget, and manage initiatives and projects.
- Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Recruit, retain, and graduate students.
- Develop and implement enrollment growth strategies.
- Identify and develop new academic programs.
- Manage the School's budget.
- Support graduate program development.
- Establish internships and job placement opportunities.
- Oversee day-to-day operations.
- Lead meetings and represent the School.
- Promote programs and achievements.
- Provide reports to the Provost.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Doctoral degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience.
- Experience with curriculum and accreditation.
- Strong understanding of student success strategies.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
