Lettershop Inserter Operator - 2nd Shift

Position Summary

Polaris Direct is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inserter Operator to join our second-shift Production team. This position operates, monitors, and performs basic adjustments to production mailing equipment to accurately produce client mailings according to job specifications, quality standards, production schedules, and Company procedures.

The successful candidate will work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining product quality, workplace safety, and the confidentiality of client information.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and perform basic adjustments to assigned production mailing equipment.
• Read and follow job tickets, production instructions, and approved sample pieces.
• Verify materials and monitor completed work to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with customer requirements.
• Meet established production schedules and daily productivity expectations without sacrificing quality.
• Promptly report equipment malfunctions, material shortages, quality concerns, and production issues to the Second Shift Production Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all Company safety, housekeeping, quality-control, and equipment-operating procedures.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to support production goals and maintain an efficient workflow.
• Protect confidential client and Company information.
• Complete required HIPAA, information-security, workplace-safety, and other assigned training.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Second Shift Production Supervisor or General Manager of Production.

Physical and Work Requirements

This position is performed in a manufacturing environment that includes moving mechanical equipment, conveyors, forklifts, production noise, and other conditions commonly associated with production operations.

The position requires continuous standing and frequent walking, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the workday. Employees must follow all safety procedures, use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean and safe work area.

Candidates must also be available to work overtime, weekends, or adjusted schedules when required by production demands and customer deadlines.
