You’ll handle the full collision-repair process, including:
- Disassembly, repair, refinishing, and reassembly of damaged vehicles
- Cutting torch use, minor welding, and fabrication
- Safe operation of shop equipment and adherence to PPE requirements
- Maintaining a clean, organized work area
- Communicating professionally with teammates and customers
- Delivering high-quality, detail-focused work on schedule
What you bring:
- Experience in auto body repair (frame, panel, filler, paint, blasting)
- Knowledge of HVLP, gravity-feed, or pressure-pot paint systems
- Welding/fabrication skills
- Strong attention to detail and time-management
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly (up to 75 lbs with assistance)
- Ability to wear a respirator
- A positive, team-focused attitude
- High school diploma or GED
- Technical school/BOCES training a plus
- Valid driver’s license
- Basic tool set
