The Quality Director will provide strategic leadership, oversight, and consistency across all manufacturing locations of SendCutSend. This role is responsible for developing and driving a unified quality strategy, ensuring alignment in quality standards, processes, coaching, and execution across sites and shifts.
The Quality Director will lead and support site Quality Managers by providing direction, mentorship, accountability, and operational guidance to strengthen quality performance, improve customer outcomes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
This position is preferably based in Reno, NV; however, we are open to candidates in other locations. The role supports quality initiatives across all SendCutSend facilities and requires regular travel, with more frequent travel for candidates based outside of Reno.

What you’ll do
- Develop and implement company-wide quality strategies, standards, and initiatives across all manufacturing locations
- Drive consistency in quality systems, auditing practices, documentation, and decision-making across sites
- Establish and maintain standardized quality metrics, reporting structures, and performance expectations
- Partner with Operations leadership to align quality objectives with broader business goals and operational growth
- Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to Quality Managers across all sites and shifts
- Conduct regular site visits and reviews to ensure compliance with company quality standards and operational consistency
- Oversee production audits and inspections across locations, ensuring proper sampling methods and adherence to quality requirements
- Ensure quality teams maintain effective communication and alignment between shifts and facilities
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Customer Service, Safety, and Operations teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes
- Partner with leadership teams to support strategic planning, operational scaling, and process standardization
- Ensure critical safety and quality control points are consistently maintained and properly documented
- Recognize and reinforce strong performance while fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Minimum Qualifications
- 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, production, or quality environments
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading quality teams in a multi-site manufacturing environment
- Strong working knowledge of quality assurance systems, production methods, and manufacturing operations
- Experience leading RCA, CAPA, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to develop standardized processes and drive operational consistency across locations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization
- Proven leadership and decision-making abilities in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with electronic quality management systems, reporting tools, and data management platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Director-level or senior multi-site quality leadership role
- Experience supporting rapid operational growth and scaling manufacturing operations
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience leading or supporting ISO 9001 quality management systems, including implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement
- Strong understanding of regulatory, compliance, and safety standards within manufacturing environments
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence organizational change
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Operations, or a related field preferred

- Ability to move throughout an office and manufacturing environment as needed
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work in environments with noise, moving equipment, temperature variation, and industrial hazards while following safety protocols
Work Environment
- This role is based onsite in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that requires consistent communication, organization, and coordination across cross-functional teams
- The position also includes travel to facilities which may require time spent in or around a manufacturing facility with exposure to moderate noise, moving equipment, and industrial conditions
