As a Bartender at FARMSHOP Marin Country Mart, you will be responsible for crafting and serving a diverse range of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and beers, while providing exceptional hospitality to our guests. You will work closely with the Bar Manager and other team members to ensure a memorable and enjoyable experience for our guests.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks, according to FARMSHOP's standards and recipes.
- Welcome and engage guests at the bar, providing recommendations and information about our beverage offerings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies, cleaning glassware, and disposing of waste.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and serving staff to coordinate food and beverage orders and ensure timely service.
- Uphold FARMSHOP's standards of hospitality and professionalism, providing friendly and attentive service to all guests.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed.
- Participate in training sessions and staff meetings as required.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service, adhering to legal and company policies.
- Maintain customer privacy, behave with open-mindedness and cultural sensitivity.
- Implement quality assurance standards and provide accurate feedback.
- Patience and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Enforce health and safety precautions.
- Follow all safety and state guidelines for preventing transmission of Covid-19 and other illnesses.

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Extensive knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers, and other beverages, with the ability to craft creative and well-balanced drinks.
- Food handler certification is required.
- Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification is required.
Work Authorization
United States Citizen or Alien Authorized to work in the United States.
