Farmshop is a California-inspired restaurant and artisan market concept, with locations in Brentwood Country Mart and Marin Country Mart. We're seeking an experienced Shift Supervisor - Front of House to join the management team at our Marin location, reporting to the General Manager.

Responsibilities

• Uphold Farmshop standards of customer service, food & beverage quality, cleanliness, and sanitation.
• Assist with ordering, stock management, inventory, and receiving.
• Organize and administer opening and closing duties, including full front-of-house setup.
• Mentor and train new and existing employees, and give feedback after each shift.
• Communicate effectively with the team and market manager to maintain quality and performance.
• Prepare and manage required paperwork, including forms, invoices, reports, and schedules.
• Ensure food and products are prepared, received, and served to Farmshop's recipes and standards.
• Fill in as needed to maintain guest service standards and efficient operations.
• Lead by example, maintaining a calm, professional demeanor during high-volume periods.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant supervisory or management role preferred.
• Be able to communicate and understand English; a reasonable amount of Spanish is a plus.
• Excellent basic math and computer skills, including POS and spreadsheet applications.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and team leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a high-paced, at times stressful, environment.
• Ability to frequently lift, move, and/or push up to 35 pounds.
• Able to stand for extended periods and work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the United States.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Food handler certification is required.
• Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification is required.
