The Benson Kids Coordinator oversees the Kids Ministry at the Benson Campus, implementing the vision, curriculum, and strategies set by the Pantano Kids Pastor.

Primary Responsibilities

• Engaging with newcomers that have filled out the “Kids First Time Guest Registration" form 
• Prepares spaces & supplies for weekly services or events and request replenishments, as needed. 
• Manage Check in process and troubleshoot, as needed 
• Onboarding Difference Makers
• Make first contact with all Difference Makers interested in serving within Benson Kids
• Schedule shadowing and training for interested Difference Makers
• Ensure Difference Maker job descriptions are signed 
• Enter Difference Makers into appropriate Kids teams for scheduling in Planning Center
• Schedule and train Difference Makers as needed
• Implement security protocols and child protection policies to maintain a safe environment.
• Provide feedback and communicate campus-specific needs to the Campus Pastor

Other Duties

• Attend weekly 1:1, team, and staff meetings 
• Adhere to all church policies and procedures as well as ensure that volunteers comply with guidelines for ministry
• Work assigned duties during “All Hands On Deck” events such as Christmas and Easter services
• Other duties as assigned

• Active Difference Maker Pantano Christian Church
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Office-related computer skills, including experience with common office software/programs and online applications
• Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Word and Excel
• Ability to effectively utilize online communication, email and calendar tools
• Experience with Mac and macOS a plus
• Experience with Google Drive a plus
• Experience with database software a plus
• Ability to work productively without direct supervision
• Ability to work well and collaborate with team members, volunteers and other staff
