We’re looking for a dependable and detail-oriented housekeeper to join our team at Mountain Valley of Cascadia in Kellogg, Idaho.

As a housekeeper, you’ll play an important role in the daily lives of our residents by helping maintain a clean, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment throughout our facility. Your work matters! Every clean room, fresh common area, and well-maintained space contributes to the quality of life of the people we serve.

What You’ll Do

  • Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, offices, restrooms, and other facility spaces
  • Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Safely use, store, and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Handle linens and waste according to facility procedures
  • Identify and promptly report maintenance, safety, or environmental concerns
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization throughout the facility
  • Work collaboratively with residents, families, and fellow team members
  • Help create an environment where residents feel comfortable, respected, and at home

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous housekeeping or healthcare experience is preferred, but training is available for the right candidate
  • Dependable, responsible, and committed to doing quality work
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Good time-management and organizational skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift as required for the position
  • A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
  • Respect and compassion for the residents we serve

Requirements

Education


High school diploma or equivalent preferred.


Licenses/Certification


None required.


Experience


Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
