In Touch Ministries is looking for an Enterprise Applications Developer/Analyst II to design, build, and maintain the applications, databases, reports, and automations that keep ministry operations running. This is a hands-on, full-stack role for a developer who enjoys owning systems end to end — sitting down with a ministry department to understand what they need, building the solution, and standing behind it once it's live.
You'll work across SQL Server and T-SQL, C# or Python, ASP.NET, Power BI, and a range of automation and integration tooling. Assigned development work is delivered independently, from initial requirements through implementation and ongoing support.
This is a professional individual-contributor position with sustained ownership of assigned enterprise systems. There are no direct reports; leadership here looks like system ownership, project-level accountability, and technical guidance to stakeholders and vendor contacts.
What you'll do:
- Develop, modify, and maintain applications and system components independently across the full stack — T-SQL, C# or Python, ASP.NET, Power BI, and automation tooling.
- Build and maintain reporting and business intelligence outputs that support operational and ministry needs.
- Gather requirements directly from business stakeholders and translate operational needs into technical specifications and working solutions.
- Confirm scope, functional expectations, and delivery approach with requesting departments, and carry the assigned work through to completion.
- Own data integrity for assigned systems — accuracy, consistency, and reliability of the data those systems hold.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, database, and reporting issues, and monitor assigned systems for problems affecting reliability or data quality.
- Support integrations between enterprise applications and third-party vendor systems, coordinating directly with vendor technical contacts on issues, changes, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain automation supporting recurring processes within assigned systems.
- Document system processes, configurations, and supporting policies, and keep that documentation current as systems change.
Required
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server and T-SQL development, including ad hoc queries, stored procedures, and views, combined with development capability in either C# or Python.
- Demonstrated critical-thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose technical issues, work with business requirements, and develop reliable technical solutions.
- Experience with — or demonstrated ability to learn — complementary technologies such as C# or Python, Excel and macros, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, SSRS, Power BI reports and dashboards, PowerShell, Postman, Microsoft Fabric, data lakes, and related automation and integration technologies.
- Three to six years of professional experience developing and supporting enterprise applications, with a track record of delivering work independently.
- Ability to gather requirements directly from non-technical business stakeholders and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ability to maintain the accuracy and integrity of system data.
- Ability to work professionally with external vendors and integration partners.
- Clear technical and process documentation skills.
- Ability to work with substantial independence and manage assigned project work to completion.
Preferred
- Experience working with enterprise applications, databases, CRM or ERP environments, integrations, reporting solutions, or business data.
- Experience building and supporting process automation.
- Experience supporting vendor integrations and troubleshooting directly with vendor technical contacts.
