We’re looking for a Part-Time Sales Representative to help grow our customer base in Greer and throughout Upstate South Carolina. We are a freight transportation and warehousing company.
This role is a great fit for an outgoing, self-motivated professional who enjoys meeting people, developing relationships, and connecting businesses with transportation and logistics solutions. You’ll work closely with our local team to identify new opportunities, understand prospective customers’ needs, and introduce them to Inontime’s capabilities.
Position Details
- Location: Greer, South Carolina
- Job Type: Part-Time
- Schedule: Flexible part-time schedule based on business needs. Hours may vary, with most customer outreach, meetings, and networking activities occurring during normal business hours. Currently anticipating 24 hours a week.
- Travel: Local travel throughout Greer and the surrounding region. Mileage paid based on IRS standard mileage rate
- Compensation: Hourly base pay plus performance-based bonus opportunity
What You’ll Be Doing
- Developing New Business – Identify and connect with companies that may benefit from Inontime’s transportation, warehousing, drayage, and logistics services
- Building Relationships – Establish strong connections with manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, and other businesses throughout the region
- Prospecting Consistently – Reach prospective customers through phone calls, email, networking, referrals, and in-person visits
- Understanding Customer Needs – Learn about each company’s operations, challenges, and goals to identify where Inontime can add value
- Coordinating Solutions – Work with Inontime’s operations team to develop services and solutions that fit each customer’s needs
- Following Up – Maintain an organized contact schedule and keep prospective opportunities moving forward
- Managing Sales Activity – Record customer information, notes, follow-ups, and opportunities in our CRM
- Supporting New Accounts – Help create a smooth transition from the sales process to daily operations
- Representing Inontime – Attend customer meetings, networking opportunities, trade events, and community activities as needed
- Sharing Market Feedback – Provide regular updates on prospective customers, sales activity, market needs, and opportunities within the region

What We’re Looking For

- Confidence reaching out to prospective customers and initiating new relationships
- Strong organization and follow-through
- The ability to work independently while collaborating closely with our operations team
- Sales, transportation, logistics, warehousing, or related business experience is helpful, but not required
- Familiarity with the Upstate South Carolina business community is a plus
