OVERNIGHT SHIFT

Wednesday–Saturday | 10:00 PM–8:00 AM
Four 10-hour overnight shifts

Genesis Reference Laboratories is seeking a Medical Technologist – Molecular to join our Molecular Testing Department in Centennial, Colorado. This position performs molecular diagnostic testing and related laboratory activities while supporting accurate, timely, and compliant patient testing.

Essential Duties

  • Perform specimen processing, molecular testing, quality control, and equipment maintenance.
  • Review, analyze, and report test results accurately and promptly.
  • Perform quality assurance and proficiency testing activities.
  • Assist with assay validation, implementation, and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain required laboratory records and documentation.
  • Follow applicable laboratory, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized laboratory environment.
  • Perform other laboratory duties as assigned.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Biological Science, Chemistry, Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or related field.
  • Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field may be considered based on qualifications and applicable laboratory requirements.
  • 1–2 years of molecular testing or relevant laboratory experience.
  • Strong technical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work the posted Wednesday–Saturday, 10:00 PM–8:00 AM overnight schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Molecular diagnostics and PCR experience.
  • Assay validation or implementation experience.
  • Clinical laboratory experience.
Salary Description
$20-$26/hour
