Position Purpose
The Social Media Manager will monitor and administer Allied Solutions Center for the Performing Arts (ASCPA) social media channels, including paid advertising on a variety of digital media channels, and help manage social media and web content creation to support brand promotion and strategic positioning. The candidate should have experience in developing social media campaigns and marketing plans that yield increased engagement and measurable results.
The position calls for excellent writing and communications skills with the ability to tell the story of ASCPA creatively and accurately, as well as experience in all aspects of email marketing, SEO/SEM, Google Ads and Google Analytics.
The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, self-motivated and able to juggle multiple priorities. The candidate also should be detail-oriented, organized and able to use quantitative metrics to support recommendations.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

- Develop and execute paid and organic digital media and social media marketing strategy
- Manage all aspects of company’s social media channels, including but not limited to the daily collecting and posting of relevant content, daily monitoring and response to audience postings, accelerating the growth of followers, increasing audience engagement, and measuring and analyzing the effectiveness of social media efforts
- Coordinate with touring artists to manage targeted ads on artists pages
- Support SEO/SEM efforts
- Manage the Center’s Google Ads Grant
- Perform data analysis and provide results of marketing efforts
- Work with marketing team on digital marketing and social media efforts
- Follow and report regularly on emerging social media and digital marketing trends
- Adhere to all organizational processes and procedures and meet assigned deadlines without prompting

- Demonstrated success in developing, planning and implementing digital marketing and social media strategies
- Knowledgeable of social media marketing across all major platforms such as Facebook, Threads, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
- Skilled at using a social media platform management tool such as Buffer, Sprout or Hootsuite
- Skilled at using email marketing platforms such as Wordfly, MailChimp, or Constant Contact
- Familiarity with Canva and graphic design principles
- Able to develop and implement campaigns with Google Ads
- Working knowledge of performance metrics and tools such as Google Analytics
- Able to conduct data analysis and create dashboard analytics
- Able to develop and implement SEO/SEM best practices
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Must be a team player
Education and Experience
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience.
- Undergraduate degree or higher
- 3-5 years of digital marketing and social media experience
- Performing arts, music, live entertainment or nonprofit experience a plus
Supervisory Responsibility
This position includes no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This position operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, etc.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with a full range of benefits, including participation in the 401(k) plan and Paid Time Off. Typical days and hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Opportunity for a hybrid work schedule as approved by your supervisor and in accordance with the policy.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position though it may be optional or offered for professional development opportunities.
