Flynn Wright is seeking a communications professional and seasoned writer who can turn client priorities, subject matter expertise and strategic direction into compelling content. As a Senior Public Relations & Content Strategist, you’ll develop content that strengthens credibility, builds visibility and supports business objectives for consumer and business-to-business clients.
As part of the PR team, you’ll work closely with agency colleagues to translate briefs, interviews, keyword outlines, research and client insights into clear, purposeful writing across owned and earned channels. Strong writing and editorial judgment are central to this role, along with an understanding of how content supports discovery through traditional search and AI-generated answers.
You’ll help lead and shape communications strategy and content direction for PR accounts, working with internal teams and clients to identify opportunities, recommend approaches and align execution with business priorities. You’ll also mentor early-career professionals, providing guidance and constructive feedback that strengthen their writing, strategic thinking and communications judgment.
About You
You’re a thoughtful, versatile communications professional and writer who asks good questions, identifies the strongest angle and makes complex topics accessible. You can move comfortably from website copy and newsletter articles to testimonials, executive messaging and thought leadership, adapting your voice and approach to the audience, channel and objective.
You understand the strategy behind “the ask” and can develop content with purpose. You know when to seek more context, how to incorporate feedback and how to deliver polished work. You’re collaborative, curious and organized, with the judgment to manage multiple assignments and deadlines independently.
