Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Installation Technician to join our Huntsville team. This position focuses on the installation of commercial and industrial HVAC equipment and systems. This is not a service technician role.

The ideal candidate will have experience installing commercial HVAC systems, working independently or as part of a crew, and delivering high-quality installations that meet project specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial and industrial HVAC equipment, including: 
  • Rooftop Units (RTUs)
  • Boilers
  • Chillers
  • Cooling Towers
  • VAV Systems
  • Ductwork
• Assist with equipment startups and verify proper system operation
• Read and interpret plans, specifications, and installation drawings
• Complete installations according to manufacturer requirements and company standards
• Work safely and efficiently to meet project schedules
• Maintain accurate job documentation and communicate project status to supervisors
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and professional
• Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of commercial HVAC installation experience
• Experience installing commercial HVAC equipment; large-tonnage equipment experience      preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and follow installation specifications
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds
• Ability to work on rooftops, ladders, lifts, and in mechanical rooms
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work in confined spaces for extended      periods
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
