Engineer/Scientist actively involved in signal processing, instrumentation, and software development to support R&D efforts. Instrumentation and sensor development, software development, circuit design, testing, validation, and experimentation, and conducting electromagnetic simulations. Additional non-destructive evaluation methods (such as eddy current testing) and responsible for supporting NDE activities, sensor development, directing, interpreting, and performing experimental work on materials/test objects

Requirements

TRI Austin is a small business with a 35 year history as a first class materials science applied research and development firm seeks Engineer/Scientist with a background in Electrical Engineering for the Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) Division. An ideal candidate will be actively involved in signal processing, instrumentation, and software development. A degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited University is required to support R&D efforts. Experience and expertise is required in instrumentation and sensor development, software development, circuit design, testing, validation, and experimentation, and conducting electromagnetic simulations. Experience in additional non-destructive evaluation methods (such as eddy current testing) is highly desired. A successful candidate will be responsible for supporting NDE activities, sensor development, directing, interpreting, and performing experimental work on materials/test objects.

B.S. or M.S. level or comparable experience in a technical field is preferred.
