- Conduct nursing assessments and evaluate patients presenting for medication dispensing.
- Collaborate with medical providers regarding patient assessments, treatment recommendations, and medication orders.
- Coordinate the nursing and medical needs of patients participating in the Medication Assisted Treatment Program (MAT).
- Prepare and dispense Methadone and Suboxone in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and accreditation standards.
- Complete medical screening assessments and identify the need for referrals to primary care providers or other healthcare services.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and medication records.
- Manage medication inventory, including ordering, receiving, monitoring, and reconciliation of Methadone and Suboxone supplies.
- Ensure all required reports and documentation are completed and maintained in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate as an active member of the interdisciplinary treatment team to support patient care and recovery.
Sign-On Bonus Details
- $8,000 Sign-On Bonus (based on 40 hours and prorated based on scheduled hours):
- $2,000 upon successful completion of orientation
- $2,000 after six (6) months of continuous employment
- $4,000 after one (1) year of continuous employment
Requirements
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current and unrestricted New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience in acute care, behavioral health, addiction medicine, or a related healthcare setting preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders or in a behavioral health setting is preferred, but not required.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Strong assessment, communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.
