Elite DNA Behavioral Health is seeking to hire a full-time Orientation Specialist!
Position Overview
The Onboarding & Orientation Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the onboarding experience at Elite DNA Behavioral Health and works closely with HR leadership to ensure all new hires are onboarded efficiently, compliantly, and with a high-quality first-day experience.
This role is responsible for executing onboarding processes in a high-volume environment while maintaining strong attention to detail and consistent communication across departments.
Key Responsibilities
Onboarding Coordination & Compliance
- Coordinate all pre-employment requirements including drug screens, background checks, and onboarding documentation
- Ensure completion and accuracy of all onboarding paperwork within Paylocity and Monday.com
- Track onboarding progress and maintain organized onboarding logs and checklists
- Support license verification, insurance credentialing coordination, and healthcare compliance requirements
Offer Letters & New Hire Communication
- Send offer letters and onboarding instructions to candidates
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires prior to start date
- Provide clear communication on onboarding steps, timelines, and expectations
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Partner with IT to ensure timely setup of:
- Email accounts
- System access
- Hardware and equipment
- Coordinate with hiring managers to confirm onboarding readiness and start dates
Orientation Facilitation
- Lead and facilitate monthly new hire orientation sessions (onsite)
- Present company overview, policies, systems, and expectations
- Ensure a professional, welcoming, and organized first-day experience
Process Execution
- Follow established onboarding processes and workflows consistently
- Ensure all onboarding steps are completed prior to employee start date
- Escalate delays or issues impacting onboarding timelines
Qualifications
- 1–3+ years of experience in onboarding, HR coordination, recruiting support, or administrative roles
- Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or compliance-heavy environments strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Monday.com, Paylocity or similar HRIS systems preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage high-volume onboarding workflows
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems
