Our Education Studio is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Director to join our Education studio who’s ready to get hands-on across a range of project types and scales.

This role provides diversity and variety in your day-to-day, so our ideal candidate can work independently and flexibly on multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for detail and a collaborative spirit. What you’ll be doing:
No two days are exactly the same, but you can count on a few constants. Including:
- Manage design and production work for the Term Contracts team
- Work closely with Principals and Baskervill support staff to make sure Baskervill processes are followed
- Mentor junior design staff to make sure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Serve as the client’s primary point of contact for projects
- Be involved in all aspects of the design process, including internal and external team meetings, from concept through construction administration
- Coordinate with internal and external project team members, engineers, and consultants in a timely fashion, with professionalism and compassion
- Oversee drawings in Revit
About you:
A great match for our team is someone who has:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture, Interior Design or Engineering
- 12+ years of professional architecture, interior design or engineering experience, ideally with experience in Education project types
- Professional licensure or working towards licensure
- Proficiency in Revit
- Knowledge and aptitude in other design software platforms preferred, including but not limited to: SketchUp, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, Miro, and Office 365
- A desire to work collaboratively with team members in a constructive and engaged manner
- Experience managing/mentoring junior staff
- The willingness to travel, as there will be travel to regional campuses required
