Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee residential sewer line replacement and installation projects from start to finish.
  • Supervise and mentor sewer installers, equipment operators, and laborers on job sites.
  • Coordinate daily job activities to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. 
  • Read and interpret job specifications, site plans, utility locates, and permit requirements.
  • Install sewer mains, service lines, clean-outs, and related underground piping systems. 
  • Ensure all installations meet local codes, company standards, and quality expectations. 
  • Perform job site inspections and identify potential safety hazards or installation issues. 
  • Communicate with homeowners regarding project timelines, expectations, and progress updates. 
  • Troubleshoot installation challenges and make field decisions to keep projects moving forward. 
  • Maintain accurate job documentation, material usage, and project records. 
  • Manage job site cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance. 
  • Ensure company vehicles, tools, and equipment are properly maintained.
  • Other job duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of residential sewer installation experience preferred. 
  • Strong knowledge of sewer systems, excavation practices, and underground utility work. 
  • Ability to read blueprints, site plans, and utility locates. 
  • Knowledge of local plumbing and sewer codes. 
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. 
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities. 
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. 
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding work.
