Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory or management experience required.
- Previous experience in housekeeping, environmental services, healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or a related field preferred.

The Housekeeping & Laundry Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and overseeing the daily operations of the Housekeeping and Laundry departments. This position ensures a clean, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and team members while maintaining compliance with federal, state, local, and community standards. The Supervisor provides leadership to department staff, promotes exceptional customer service, and ensures the efficient use of personnel, equipment, and resources.
· Supervise the daily operations of the Housekeeping and Laundry departments to ensure high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and resident satisfaction.
· Recruit, interview, onboard, train, coach, and evaluate department employees in collaboration with Human Resources.
· Develop and maintain department schedules to ensure adequate staffing and timely completion of housekeeping and laundry services.
· Plan and coordinate staffing, equipment, inventory, and supply needs to support efficient departmental operations.
· Establish, implement, and monitor quality standards and productivity expectations for housekeeping and laundry staff.
· Develop, update, and enforce departmental policies, procedures, and best practices.
· Conduct routine inspections of resident rooms, apartments, common areas, laundry operations, storage areas, and equipment to ensure compliance with community standards and regulatory requirements.
· Maintain accurate records related to resident housekeeping and laundry services, including monthly billing and service changes.
· Coordinate and oversee cleaning schedules for Independent Living residences and common areas.
· Assist in planning and coordinating resident move-ins, transfers, and move-outs, ensuring residences are properly prepared.
· Maintain appropriate storage and organization of residents' personal items within the Health Care Center.
· Monitor inventory levels and order housekeeping and laundry supplies as needed while maintaining cost-effective operations.
· Ensure department equipment is properly maintained and report repair or replacement needs promptly.
· Respond professionally and promptly to resident, family, and staff concerns regarding housekeeping or laundry services.
· Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, safety, and exceptional customer service.
· Follow all infection prevention, safety, and hazardous chemical handling procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
· Attend required meetings, in-service training, and continuing education programs.
· Comply with all federal, state, local, and community policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
