SkyHop Global is a national leader in airline crew transportation, operating 24/7/365 across major U.S. markets. As we expand into Detroit, we are looking for a hands-on Station Leader who is ready to build, lead, and grow a high-performing team from the ground up.
This is a player-coach role—you won’t just manage the operation, you’ll be in it. Expect to spend approximately 50% of your time driving, leading by example, and setting the standard for safety, service, and performance.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead day-to-day station operations in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment
  • Drive routes and transport airline crew members safely and professionally (~50% of the time)
  • Hire, train, coach, and develop drivers and support staff
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and company policies
  • Monitor KPIs, schedules, and service levels to meet client expectations
  • Partner with dispatch, safety, and leadership teams to drive performance
  • Build a strong team culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and growth

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven leadership experience in transportation, logistics, or operations
  • Hands-on, “lead from the front” mindset—this is not a desk-only role
  • Open availability – must be able to support a 24/7/365 operation (including nights, weekends, and holidays)
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-moving environment
  • Excellent communication and team leadership abilities

Leader/ Driver Qualifications (Required)

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Clean driving record (no moving violations in the past 3 years)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Non-CDL DOT Medical Card
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and assist with crew luggage
  • Strong focus on safety and adherence to all company driving policies
  • No personal mobile device usage while operating company vehicles (per company policy)
  • Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
