Job Summary:
The Digital Press Operator plays a critical role in producing high-quality printed products by operating advanced digital printing equipment and ensuring production, quality, and safety standards are met. This position combines technical expertise, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills to deliver exceptional print results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do:
- Set up, operate, and monitor digital printing equipment and supporting software to produce high-quality print products in accordance with customer specifications.
- Ensure jobs are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule while meeting established quality standards.
- Perform ongoing quality inspections throughout production runs to verify color consistency, image quality, registration, and overall product appearance.
- Troubleshoot printing, equipment, and workflow issues, working with Leads and team members to identify and resolve production challenges.
- Conduct routine equipment maintenance, cleaning, and inspections to optimize machine performance and reduce downtime.
- Verify that materials, substrates, inks, and other production supplies are available and ready before production begins.
- Accurately document production activities, labor, materials consumed, and job-related information within company systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment in accordance with 5S, quality, and safety standards.
- Follow all safety procedures and actively contribute to a culture of workplace safety.
- Serve as a resource for Apprentices and Feeders by sharing knowledge, providing guidance, and supporting team development.
- Support departmental goals by remaining flexible and assisting with additional duties and overtime as business needs require.
- Work overtime as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Comfortable using computers and operating production-related software systems.
- Proficiency with Mac and Windows operating systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the printing, graphics, manufacturing, or production industry.
- Experience operating digital printing equipment or similar production machinery.
- Experience working with ERP, production management, or workflow systems.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow written instructions, production specifications, and documented procedures.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a production environment.
- Ability to read and accurately use measuring devices, including tape measures and other production measurement tools.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and measurements.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- Demonstrated reliability through consistent attendance, punctuality, and accountability.

Pay Statement
The national pay range for this role is listed below. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
