Life Enrichment Coordinator – Memory Care

We are seeking a passionate and motivated full-time Life Enrichment Coordinator for our Memory Care unit. If you have a background in Recreational Therapy and a genuine love for working with seniors with cognitive impairments, this role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in residents’ lives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement engaging, therapeutic, and recreational activities tailored to residents’ cognitive and physical abilities

- Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating environment that promotes socialization, mental clarity, and overall well-being

- Collaborate with care staff to assess residents’ needs and preferences, ensuring personalized activity plans

- Coordinate entertainment, social events, and mental stimulation programs to enhance residents’ quality of life

- Monitor and document residents’ participation and progress, adjusting activities as needed

- Maintain a safe and supportive environment during all activities and interactions

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in Recreational Therapy or a related field, preferably within senior or memory care settings

- Strong understanding of cognitive impairments and effective engagement strategies

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and motivating approach

- Ability to plan, organize, and lead diverse activities for seniors with varying needs

- Certification or training in Recreational Therapy, Activity Coordination, or related disciplines is preferred

- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and foster positive relationships with residents and families
