Mackin Educational Resources is a well-established and highly respected company in the South Metro. We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative Administrative Assistant – Collection Management to support our team of librarians.
About the Role
This position provides administrative and project support, including assisting with school library collection evaluation, tracking state and national award lists, maintaining data and records, and supporting day-to-day team needs.

Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and project support to the Collection Management team by tracking projects, information, and deadlines to meet day-to-day needs.
- Communicate and collaborate with internal departments to gather, organize, and share information.
- Assist with the evaluation and organization of school library collections.
- Research, select, monitor, and maintain state and national children’s and young adult book award lists.
- Maintain accurate information in Microsoft Office calendars, spreadsheets, and other documents.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records and files and organize and maintain electronic and paper documentation.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- College degree or at least one year of experience in an administrative or office support role.
- Previous experience providing administrative or operational support to a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, tasks, and deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
- Strong follow-through and a commitment to accuracy.
- Positive, helpful, and service-oriented approach to supporting colleagues and internal teams.
- Previous experience in a library, education, publishing, or related environment helpful.
Hours & Work Location
- Part-Time, Monday – Friday
- 4 - 6 hours per day between the hours of 8am and 5pm
- Hybrid — Onsite Training / Work From Home
Wages
- $20.00 - $22.00 per hour depending on skills and experience
