The Building Maintenance person is responsible for maintaining the property and facility. Duties include a range of maintenance and repair tasks, including landscaping, lawn maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, light electrical and safety repairs.
Responsibility
· Performing quality checks on HVAC, air conditioning, lighting, plumbing and low voltage electrical systems
· Collaborate with other departments, contractors, and vendors as needed to complete maintenance tasks
· Keeping documents of inspections and problems
· Doing landscaping, outdoor maintenance and pest control
· Maintaining plant floor cleanliness with floor scrubber in designated areas
· Ability to drive a hi-lo and operate cranes and boom lifts
· Maintaining logs of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections to track progress and identify potential issues
· Adhering to relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
· Maintaining an adequate inventory of supplies and equipment needed for maintenance tasks
· Ensuring the building is safe for occupants, addressing any safety hazards, and maintains security systems
· Maintaining cleanliness of outdoor areas, removing trash regularly, and keeping the building in a tidy and presentable condition.
· Preventative maintenance and small repairs
· Works with cross functional teams to continually improve, problem solve and reduce waste
· Other duties as assigned
· Provides personal equipment, hand tools, or devices needed
Academic/Educational Requirements
High School graduation or equivalent required
Required Skills/Experience
1 to 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing building maintenance position
Ability to operate industrial equipment including fork lift, hi-lo, scissor lift
Familiar with Industrial safety guidelines
Valid Driver’s License
Knowledgeable in Lock out Tag Out procedures
