If you love great conversation, beautiful views, and creating a memorable guest experience, you’ll fit right in at Superior Shores Restaurant & Bar.

As a Bartender, you’ll be at the heart of the guest experience—serving up handcrafted cocktails, local beers, wine, and great food while helping guests relax and enjoy their time on the North Shore. Whether someone is stopping in for a quick drink after a day exploring Lake Superior or settling in for dinner with friends and family, you’ll help make their visit one to remember.

Our restaurant offers American cuisine with a modern twist, along with an extensive beverage selection and incredible views of Lake Superior. Every shift brings new guests, new conversations, and plenty of opportunities to show off your hospitality skills.

What You’ll Do

  • Welcome guests with a friendly, genuine attitude and create a welcoming bar environment
  • Prepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails, and other beverages according to recipes and guest preferences
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations and answer questions about our beverage and food menus
  • Take food orders and provide attentive service to guests seated at the bar
  • Accurately enter food and beverage orders and communicate clearly with the kitchen
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar throughout each shift
  • Monitor guest needs and provide attentive service without being intrusive
  • Check identification and follow all applicable alcohol service laws and responsible service practices
  • Accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and guest checks
  • Maintain proper inventory and communicate restocking needs to management
  • Complete opening, closing, and side work responsibilities
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and restaurant policies
  • Work closely with servers, hosts, kitchen staff, and management to provide excellent service
  • Help create a fun, welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back

What We’re Looking For

  • A friendly, outgoing personality and genuine passion for hospitality
  • Previous bartending experience preferred, but we’re willing to train the right person
  • Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and basic beverage preparation
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy restaurant environment
  • Dependable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and work on your feet for extended periods
  • Must meet applicable age requirements for bartending and alcohol service
