Description

DarkStar Intelligence is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) to support a critical US PACOM training & education program. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, developing, and producing lesson plans, learning objectives, and course materials to meet current and emerging JIOC and US PACOM mission areas. This position requires a deep understanding of ADDIE and other industry-standard learning development models across multiple modalities, the ability to collaborate effectively with subject matter experts and facilitators, and a strong background in meeting adult learning and COE accreditation standards. The candidate must be equally proficient in designing for both classroom (synchronous) and computer-based (asynchronous) environments. 


  **Responsibilities**

· Courseware Design & Development • Work with subject matter experts (SMEs), PDP facilitators, and functional owners to design, develop, and produce lesson plans, learning objectives, course materials, and assessments.

· Create, update, and develop both new and existing materials to meet adult learning industry standards.

· Methodology & Modality Application • Utilize the ADDIE model and other industry-standard learning development models.

· Design both synchronous and asynchronous instructional content across multiple modalities (classroom, distance learning, and web/computer-based training).

· Project Leadership & Collaboration • Lead and work within a collaborative team of ISDs, SMEs, and PDP facilitators.

· Manage instructional design projects to ensure courseware is developed and delivered according to established project timelines.

· Compliance & Standards • Ensure all instructional materials meet COE accreditation standards and industry best practices.

· Accommodate multiple delivery formats while optimizing available resources.

· Documentation Delivery • Generate required course documentation, including Course Design Documents (CDD), instructor/facilitator guides, student guides, course syllabi, practical exercises, and assessments.

Requirements

· 5+ years of DoD/military/Federal experience within the training/education field. Undergraduate degree or higher in education/learning that meets OPM standards for Instructional Systems job 

series (1750).


**Preferred**

· 10+ years of DoD/military experience in training/education to include INDOPACOM AoR assignments and appropriate IT, AI/SI Experience, security, and vendor certifications.
