DarkStar Intelligence is seeking an e-Learning Instructional Systems Designer to create blended, online, and virtual classroom courseware for a government agency. You’ll take classroom and virtual course materials from agency subject matter experts and turn them into training that closes real performance gaps. Using the ADDIE model, you’ll build design plans, storyboards, narrative scripts, exams, instructional aids, and finished eLearning products. You’ll also work with multimedia specialists on graphics, animation, photos, audio, and video. You’ll choose the right goals, length, approach, and media for each course, apply adult learning strategies, test courseware in the learning management system test environment, and measure how well the instruction works.
**Responsibilities**
· Work with team members to plan instructional delivery and build blended learning strategies that combine face-to-face and online instruction
· Lay the instructional design groundwork for classroom and eLearning courses
· Review instructional design plans, courses, and supporting materials with Government colleagues for quality and peer feedback
· Create professional-level presentation materials
· Meet regularly with project stakeholders, including clients, subject matter experts, and end users
· Run needs, job, task, and gap analyses to decide whether instruction is the right solution
· Track work and schedules so you finish projects within development parameters
· Deliver quality instruction for adult learners in a fast-paced, changing work environment
· At least a minimum of six (6) years' experience without an appropriate degree
· Practical-level knowledge and expertise of instructional design processes and terminology
Preferred Requirements
· Practical experience with Blackboard
· Working knowledge of Adobe Captivate or other eLearning tools
