Position Overview

This position is responsible for the overall performance and day-to-day retail automotive operations of a JAM Best One location, while providing support to commercial operations as needed. This position oversees team development, financial performance, customer satisfaction, operational processes, inventory, facility appearance, and workplace safety.

The successful candidate will develop and execute business strategies that support sales growth, profitability, employee development, and an outstanding customer experience. This individual must lead by example, communicate effectively, solve problems proactively, and create a positive, productive work environment.

• Must have 3+ years of successful auto center management experience
• Preferred 1 year of commercial automotive experience
• Must have a proven track record of team development, training and customer relations
• Must have a solid understanding of all products and services provided by JAM Best One Tires and Service.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must have strong computer skills regarding: Microsoft Office, internet, and software navigation. 
• Experience with MaddenCo software preferred but not required.
• A bachelor’s degree in business administration or a similar field is highly desirable.
• Must have a current valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects weighing 10 pounds on a regular basis and up to 25 pounds occasionally. 
• Must have ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards, which requires substantial repetitive movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. 
• Must be able to regularly stand and walk for extended periods of time. 

The ability to work a full shift, come to work on time, and work according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation is an essential function of this position.
